I got this for Christmas from my husband and it is the best coat I have ever owned! So warm and comfy. I love this coat. The fit is great, and I love wearing it.

I am so please with my new Suttle Mountain insulated jacket. The fit and length is just right. I don't have to wear layers of clothes underneath because with the insulated lining keeps me very warm. The weight isn't to heavy. Having the 2 way zippers is a must cause I always have to zip from the bottom to get in my car. And the hood covers my whole head and doesn't slide off. This coat would make me buy another just to have 2 to choose from.

I live in Southern California where I have no need for this type of coat. However, I bought it for a trip to Iceland in November. It is very warm and seems like it will work very well for the Icelandic winter. I especially like the fact that the sleeves have close fitting liners and even though I am only 4' 10" the sleeves are not too long.

Beautiful parka, flattering, rather elegant even — skips the lumberjack-y look. The light color (oyster y-white/grey) is a safety feature, it will show at night. Quality construction with many nice features. Fits great. I bought it slightly larger for extra room while sitting down, a personal preference.

I really like this coat it's very warm and love the styling. My one complaint is that it runs a tad bit on the small side. Not enough to be uncomfortable or unwearable but I do wish it was a little more roomy like the other Columbia coat that I have. With that being said I still would highly recommend this coat.

Was so bummed when I got my coat. It has no side pockets! Just the 2 in the front. Returning the coat.

I bought a grey one last year. Liked it so much that I came back for a black one this year to replace my old black winter coat that wasn't warm enough. On sale, of course. Warmest coat ever, without down. Great features, durable and perfect fit. The "black" is actually a charcoal color, which I prefer, so a win there. All in all and excellent value and will wear for years to come.

As someone who grew up in a temperate climate, moving to a much colder one has it’s challenges. Winter coats are key and I purchased this just before the winter and have used it almost every day since. Early morning walks with my pup are in the 20s-30s F, but some weeks down into the single digits. With this coat, I love the versatility of being able to just button a couple of buttons during the warmer temps (upper 30s to low 40s) or completely zip up in the cooler temps. Being able to just button up a few also makes the whole bundling process so much quicker, which can otherwise be tedious for months on end. That alone makes it well worth the money! Pockets are great, deep, and easily accessible up front. Love that I can tighten the cuff a bit too. Hood doesn’t fall into my eyes as much as most hoods do. Holds up great in snow, wind, or just plain cold. Not tight in the upper arms as is often the case for me, even with plus sized coats. Probably the best winter coat I’ve ever purchased!

I now own two. Roomy enough to Layer. Very warm. Ruggedly stands up to my dogs. Washes well.
