wore them today for the first time and they feel super loose putting them on I feel like I would size down. As well as when squatting down to change lures and such they do that thing where they ride down right in the middle and show my underwear and there was no escaping it. Other than that when standing in them straight they were comfortable lightweight and breathable.

My Favorite

These are my favorite shorts! The sizing does run small, so size down one size, but the sizing has been consistent year after year. The leg openings are wide enough to make the shorts comfortable and the length is flattering without showing your cheeks. I’m glad that I’ve purchased some of the great colors throughout the years that are no longer offered (pink, orange, macaw blue, collegiate navy, green, and nocturnal). Columbia should always offer black, grey, and navy as staple colors while introducing trending colors each year.

Nice Shorts

These are nice comfortable shorts. They're great for everything from hanging in the house to hiking. I did need a smaller size as they seemed a bit large for my usual medium.

Too Big

I love the material but the sizing is way off. I’m 5’6” 137lbs with an athletic build. Medium is my usual shorts size but these fell right off me. I even checked to make sure they were women’s mediums and not men’s but to my disappointment they were not. Just poorly sized.

So Flattering!!!

I bought a pair of these shorts at a Columbia outlet and LOVE them SO MUCH. I’m 5’4”, 105 lbs, and wear XS. As other reviewers have said, the waistband is a little looser than I typically prefer (and definitely looser than my XS Columbia skorts), but these still fit well, feel great, & look fantastic! It is SUCH a flattering fit, length, & design. I will absolutely purchase more pairs! I’m bummed the website is out of XS in some colors. Yes, it would be great if Columbia will take our feedback and make the waistband tighter in future iterations of this item, but you can purchase these with confidence as they are. I rarely find a fit/design I love this much! (And, hey, maybe all my shorts don’t have to be so tight . . . there are days I definitely appreciate a little extra room, as long as it doesn’t sacrifice how flattering it looks, and these don’t!)
