A Five-star Jacket!
This is the sixth Columbia coat (not including my windbreaker “collection”) that I’ve purchased over the years, the previous having been 3 “Switchback Lined Long” jackets and 3 “Splash A Little” jackets. I prefer the two-way zipper the Splash A Little has and always wished they would add that to the Switchback. The Hikebound ll Long Jacket has a two-way zipper, making it, in my estimation, an exceptional purchase. I love the fit, style, fabric, length, of course the zipper, and the lightweight/non-bulky mesh lining; it will be perfect in cool and/or rainy weather. As with all Columbia jackets, this is a well-made item that will no doubt last as long as all my other ones have!

I purchased the Hikebound II Long Jacket for traveling on a vacation from Switzerland to Norway. If I could give this jacket more stars I would. It is stylish & well made. It is warm even though it is basically a shell with a mess lining, exactly what I was looking for for easy packing. Well done Columbia! I would highly recommend.
