Jacket
Bought this for when I travel. It is compact, lightweight, and keeps you dry for those rain showers

Very good jacket to repel water especially while working.
[Employee of columbia] Amazing jacket! I used it as my outer shell for a summit push on Mount Elbrus, and it was perfect. The conditions on the ascent to Pastukhov Rocks (around 4700m) were harsh-windy and cold-but the Watertight™ II kept me completely dry and protected from the wind. It's lightweight enough that I could wear it without feeling restricted. Attaching a photo from the climb so you can see it in action. For anyone looking for a dependable rain/wind layer for serious trips, I can't recommend this jacket enough. It's a workhorse.

Great quality and fit. True to size. Lightweight but keeps you dry.

I've had this jacket for 5 years now and it stays in my daily commuter bag. I was caught in the rain the first week I had, and through a south Florida downpour, it kept me dry. Over long rain events I have experienced some seaping, but that's after a long time in terrible rain. Overall, this is a great portable rain jacket.

I haven't had a chance to test this jacket in the rain yet. The LT fit is good for my slim and tall (6'4") frame. However, the color for River Blue as it appears on the website is very inaccurate. I wanted something I could wear cycling that would be relatively visible. The color online makes it look like it's a fairly bright color, but in reality it is very muted. In fact, it matches the hue (but slightly darker) of the Columbia logo & name that appears in the upper left corner of this site

Great look. Waterproof. Sizing great. Sleeve length really good. I love it.

Very well built and well priced, nothing fancy but a solid choice.

It's not possible that it has so much technology and the zipper keeps getting stuck to the fabric.

Light an effective in keeping you dry when you're out in the elements
Victor

I bought this item for my husband as a Christmas gift, it looks really nice but he needed one size bigger and oh boy! What a mess is to do an exchange or even a return with Columbia!!! It was awful to get the exact same item one size bigger even though they had it in stock. What a mistake! I don’t think I would buy online with Columbia ever unless they change the way returns/exchange work. What a massive disconnection they have between online and retail.

Jacket is NOT waterproof, Entire back seam across the shoulders leaks, then jacket is less than useless, as the inside is soaked.

I love this jacket! Its lightweight yet blocks wind and rain pretty good. The reason for 3 stars is the zippers (especially the pockets) get the fabric of the jacket caught in them ever single zip. You have to develop a way to strategically keep the fabric away everytime you zip up... Its really annoying. Its still my daily carry, but I truly hope the next design of this type will be free of this annoyance.

I bought this jacket specifically for its waterproof features, last October. Well I didn’t have the chance to be in drenching rain until last week, and was happy I had my jacket with me. Until my Tshirt got soaked through inside. What is the point of a water-tight jacket? The raincoat had to be line dried overnight for it to dry, that’s how soaked it was. I bought the boys version for my son recently but am about to return it after this incident.
