I really like this shirt so I gave it an 8. I will say that when I felt the shirt initially, I was concerned it was going to be a little too thick and would be hot but I was wrong. Once I got it on, it felt great. I will say that while it was wet and I was generally active in it, it wasn't a problem but when I was driving in the truck and I had my seatbelt on. Some of my chest hair would work it's way through the small holes and the seatbelt moving around would pull them and it was annoying. I have spent probably close to a full day in this shirt. I've done plenty of yard work in it, cutting more than 12 acres of grass in it and it kept the dust and sun off of me while keeping me cool. I've spent at least a day in it offshore and it was great. Kept me cool and I didn't get burnt. When we got back, I kept it on to wash the boat and do other various maintenance . The hood was very comfortable, the stretch of the material was great. Whether it was sweat or soapy water, it dried pretty quick.

I was selected to test out this new fishing shirt free of charge from Columbia Sportwear and let me tell you what... I am probably going to go and buy another one or two, because that's just how much I loved this shirt. I was beyond impressed by how comfortable and durable it was. I was shocked that after multiple wears/washes, no color loss, shrinkage or stretch out. I wore it fishing more than a couple of times and to work as well. I work a pretty busy, high movement job. I wanted to see how it performed doing more than just fishing. Again SUPER IMPRESSED, I worked out in the 3pm heat cutting down a pallet of good for over 2hrs and despite getting dirty as heck, no stains to show for it. While fishing I was rained on and it dried relatively fast which is nice to see as I tend to keep fishing after rain passes. As far as durability goes, the shirt got hooked several times while fishing once or twice even past the barb with little to no damage. Caught on several displays at work and other objects, still no issues. I love this shirt and I could go one forever about it. I love the color as well, lighter colors just make it so much easier to fish in harsh sunny climates. Louisiana is UNPREDICTABLE and this shirt is built for this environment. Columbia is definitely doing something right here

tested the Terminal Tackle Hoodie during several early morning and mid-day fishing trips in North Florida, where temperatures ranged from the mid-80s into the low 90s with high humidity and strong sun. I typically wore it for 4-6 hours at a time while fishing from the bank and around freshwater ponds, with plenty of walking, casting, and time standing in direct sunlight. Overall Comfort: The hoodie was comfortable from the moment I put it on. Even after several hours in the heat, it never felt heavy or restrictive. The lightweight fabric stayed comfortable throughout the day. Fit and Sizing: The sizing was true to size. It provided enough room to cast and move freely without feeling baggy. The sleeves stayed in place, and the hood fit comfortably without limiting my peripheral vision. Breathability: North Florida heat and humidity can be brutal, but the hoodie remained surprisingly breathable. Air flowed well through the fabric, helping me stay cooler than I expected despite the long sleeves. Moisture Management: I worked up a sweat while walking between fishing spots and making repeated casts. The fabric wicked moisture away efficiently and never developed that soaked, clingy feeling that some performance shirts do. Sun Protection: This was one of the biggest advantages. Spending hours in direct Florida sun normally leaves my arms feeling overheated, but the hoodie provided excellent coverage and noticeably reduced sun exposure without making me feel hotter. Mobility While Fishing: Whether making long casts, setting the hook, or reaching for gear, the hoodie moved naturally with me. I never felt restricted through my shoulders or during repetitive casting. Drying Speed: After sweating heavily and getting splashed while landing fish, the hoodie dried quickly. It never stayed damp for long, which made it comfortable to continue wearing. Fabric Feel: The fabric is soft against the skin with a smooth, lightweight feel. It didn’t chafe around the neck or wrists, even after several hours of continuous wear. Durability and Construction: After multiple washes and several fishing trips, the stitching has held up well, and the fabric has maintained its shape and performance with no noticeable pilling or loose threads. Favorite Features: The UPF sun protection, lightweight feel, excellent moisture management, and unrestricted mobility stood out the most. It allowed me to stay comfortable during long sessions without constantly thinking about the heat. Compared with other fishing shirts I’ve owned, the Terminal Tackle Hoodie feels lighter and breathes better while still providing outstanding sun protection. It’s become one of the first pieces I reach for when I know I’ll be fishing for several hours in hot, humid conditions.

The best fishing shirt I’ve ever owned. It fits true to size, very breathable, stretchy, and great moisture wicking capability. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I received this hoodie for free in exchange for my honest review, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite fishing shirts. I’ve worn it on several fishing trips, both from the bank and on a boat, for 6–8 hours at a time in hot, sunny, and humid weather. It was lightweight, breathable, and did a great job keeping me cool by wicking away sweat. It also dried quickly after getting splashed and never felt heavy or uncomfortable. The fit was true to size with plenty of room to cast and move around, and the fabric is soft enough to wear all day. I especially liked the hood and built-in sun protection, which made long hours on the water much more comfortable. I’ve mostly worn it by itself, but it also layers well on cooler mornings. Compared to other fishing shirts I’ve used, this one feels lighter, more breathable, and better suited for long days outside. After several wears and washes, it still looks and feels like new. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, high-quality fishing hoodie.

it fits incredible. It’s extremely breathable and I can use it for multiple different activities in the sun.

Great fishing shirt I used it fishing on land, on a kayak, and even a pier. This fishing shirt is great at blocking sunlight, keeping you dry, and cool all at the same time. Amazing fishing shirt that fits true to size. This product is great for all fishermen no matter how new or experienced. This shirt is also amazing for anyone who works outside a lot. Love this fishing shirt so much what an amazing important piece of equipment I always bring with me.

Game changer. The PFG Terminal Tech Hoodie keeps you cool and dry out on the water. I fish in the Texas Gulf Coast and with all the thick humidity and heat that we have this shirt really stood out. Even after wearing it on 12+ hour trips, it feels soft on the skin and vents very well. The fabric really moves with you and allows you to focus on catching a monster. I was skeptical about the hood but it definitely makes a huge difference. It definitely keeps the sun off while providing adequate shade and doesn't blow away easily with the wind. The hood even sits well while wearing a cap. The PFG Terminal Hoodie is a "regular fit" so if you like your shirts loose, I would recommend getting one size up. This is a must have for a day out on the water. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I’ve quite enjoyed wearing this hooded long sleeve while mostly fishing and some day work for six to eight hours at a time and mostly in hot, humid, and windy days. Most of the use was in the Port O’Conner area. I like how this version is slightly heavier than others which doesn’t flap in the wind as much but still allows air to flow through and dry quickly. It’s kept the sun off me quite well and the sizing is very good besides the sleeve are a tad long on me but the rest from the hood, shoulders and torso fits very comfortably. It is also more snag resistant then I expected as I walked through a fair bit of mangroves and didn’t get snagged often and the little it did it did not pull out any threads from the shirt.

This shirt is a staple for anyone spending time on the water. The UPF 50 sun protection is the real deal. I've been out on long fishing days without worrying about burning through my shirt, which is huge. Pair that with how fast this thing dries and it's hard to beat. Splash it, sweat through it, whatever and it's dry again in no time. Lightweight, comfortable, and doesn't stick to you in the heat. Exactly what you want when you're out all day in the sun.

It offers solid performance and value. I took this out fishing through several weather conditions and it did everything I expected of it, it protected me from heavy sun and kept me cool when sweating, it did not hold a lot of water in the rain so it felt light, and the materials, specially the layering design makes it feel like you’re wearing a piece actually designed for the elements, and it certainly performs that way. Sizing was right on, but of course being a fishing hoodie I always go a size up, it looks great and feels light on the skin, but the fabric does not feel fragile which I love. Overall it surpassed my expectations, and it has now become my new favorite fishing apparel, this is why I love trying new products, great job on this one #Columbia. Over the past few weeks, I tested this on north Georgia lakes in 90-degree heat and humidity. I'm 5'10", 153 pounds and the medium fits perfectly. Sleeve length is ideal and I never felt the need to constantly push them up. Hood doesn't block vision. Even sweating, it never felt clingy. Does what it should in hot, humid weather. No burns. UPF rating works. Casting motion is unrestricted. Gets out of your way. No pilling, no seam issues. Solid construction. Does what it's supposed to do. Worth having for hot weather fishing. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I tested the Columbia Terminal Tech Hoodie during multiple warm, sunny outings, and overall it performed really well. The hoodie is lightweight, soft, and comfortable enough to wear for hours without feeling heavy or restrictive. The fit was relaxed but not too baggy. I tested an XL, and it gave me enough room to move, cast, and layer over a T-shirt. The fabric felt smooth against the skin and had good mobility, especially around the shoulders and arms. In heat and humidity, it stayed breathable and handled sweat better than a regular cotton hoodie. It dried quickly after getting damp and did not cling badly. The UPF 40 sun protection was also a major plus, especially for long exposure while fishing or being outside. My favorite features are the lightweight feel, quick-drying fabric, hood coverage, and sun protection. Compared to other fishing apparel I’ve used, this feels better for hot weather because it breathes well, dries fast, and still gives solid coverage. Overall, it’s a comfortable, practical fishing hoodie that I would keep using for sunny days outside.

I was hoping to get a chance to put this through the paces while fishing but the drought we have been in has made that a little difficult. I did get to wear it working in this blistering heat and it helped a bunch. The fabric is not that slick performance feel but more of a thin knit feel that's soft. It's also very breathable and works great at keeping the sun off your skin. I also enjoyed the cut and fit. I could raise my arms over my head and not hardly lift the body of the hoodie up if any at all. I washed on delicate and did not have any shrinking so far. Color is excellent and fits my style. Will be looking for more of these to go with the other Columbia gear I own. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
