Needs A Better Zipper

1000% The parka zipper is too small. It's too fine for a parka this size and an absolute beast to thread. Additionally, it should also have a second pull to release at the bottom. Aside from that a decent jacket, waterproof with heat retention lining.

Received as a Christmas gift. Great materials. Incredibly warm in the negatives. Windproof and water proof. Kept me toasty in -20 wind-chill. Lack of interior pockets and no cinching mechanism at the bottom are disappointing, but otherwise an incredible jacket Does run large. Generally wear a medium and this was a pretty baggy medium.

Kept Me Warm In Iceland

Bought this coat for a trip to Iceland in winter and it kept me warm throughout. We had super strong winds and snow and I never once felt cold. The zipper could be etter bu it int a dealbreaker for me. It is roomy so I could wear a fleece layer as a mid layer. Love all the pockets. Even kept me dry walking behind a waterfall. Got it on sale too which is a great deal. I’m 5’9 190lbs and medium was perfect.

Zipper Sucks

I literally just got it delivered and the zipper doesn’t work, I was trying to be optimistic even though the reviews clearly stated the zipper does not last long. I didn’t expect to not work on the very same day. Wasted both money and time getting this jacket. DO NOT GET THIS JACKET!!!

Questionable Design

Fit and finish very good. This is my third Columbia all weather coat. Very disappointed in the lightweight zipper. Not up to Columbia’s standards. Very small and difficult to get zipped. Once zipped, due to the length of the coat, it is necessary to hike it up in order to sit down while avoiding strain on the zipper. I anticipate this to have an early failure. Really miss the inside pocket for billfold or phone.

Very Comfortable To Wear

Great Quality looks very stylish when going out to the mall or grocery shopping get a lot of compliments about how nice it looks and it feels great just sitting in the car driving

I brought this a month ago and the zipper is already broken.

Runs large. Normally husband wears XL size. Need to send the jacket back. And order smaller.

Warm Coat, But Plan How You Wear It

This coat is Great in Cold weather.. that is if you plan when you are Out for the extended period of time in a day! But if your plan to be out for short, then in- visiting a mall, and out again, and visiting the building- where you cannot hang this coat-- you will Sweat a LOT. Again, this coat meant to be for lengthy outings in cold weather.

Excellent Parka!!!

Bought this parka back in the summer of 2024, it is now December. This is without a doubt the warmest coat i have ever owned. I am 63 and I've tried quite a few. Love the big pockets as I do outdoor photography and I can fit alot of items in them. The only thing I would have added to this awesome coat is a fur lined hood to help block wind and blowing snow off your face.

Not Warm

I bought this 2 days ago and already returned it. It's not warm enough to keep me comfortable in 20F weather with 15mph winds. Even with a thick long sleeve and thick sweater, i was shivering. The quality is great and looks/fits well, but i wouldn't wear this on colder climates unless you want to really layer up.

I bought this parka mostly because it was advertised as being very warm. I have used this coat for my daily walk outdoors in temperatures in the mid 20 degree F range with 15 to 20 mph winds. It does not keep me comfortably warm in those conditions! I'm not freezing cold but I'm not comfortable either. The main reason that the parka does not keep me warm is that the hood & tunnel collar are too open. No matter how tight I adjust the hood strings it gets tighter around the top of my head but leaves my face & neck open to the wind. Even zipped all the way up the collar is just too big around. I think style was more of a consideration when this coat was designed than function!
