Not Quite As Effective A Windbreaker As I Hoped.
The jacket is a bit big which, my wife says, is a good thing. It is warm when layered underneath but not as effective as a windbreaker as I had hoped. It does seem to repel moisture effectively enough though I have not worn it in the rain yet. Having said all this, I would buy it again.

I have had one of these Ascender Water-Resistant Softshell Jackets for past four years and have enjoyed mine more than I can express. The jacket is comfortable and warm and very durable.
