Bummed About Changes

Footbed is very firm, cuts into heels in a weird way, and much narrower than my old Chacos. These don’t seem as well made as they used to be either. Will have to see how long they hold up. Sad that Chaco has changed so much. I saved up for a while to afford a new pair (still rocking my OG pair from 20 years ago). Please bring back the more comfy and wider footbed.

Not What They Used To Be

I absolutely love the look of these. NRS straps on my Chacos? How awesome is that! I really want to love these. Unfortunately, they reek of chemicals and gave me awful blisters. I’ve worn Chacos for years without issue. I’m not sure what they’re doing at headquarters, but STOP! The old ones were far superior. These NRS Chacos smell like a new tire, even after a five night river trip. The straps are rough and stiff and gave me awful blisters. Not fun when your theee days in to a five day trip and no other shoes available. Again, I wanted to love these but unfortunately function rules over fashion.
