Excellent Replacement For 141-029

I bought this jacket for my bf to replace his well-worn, well-loved (well-ripped up) J141-029 circa 2015, which they no longer make. This is apparently the equivalent - while a slight bit different in the details (like larger pockets, slightly different stitching, cuffs, etc.), he's very happy with the fit and feel of it. PHEW! I thought we were SOL when I learned the original was discontinued!

Exactly What I Wanted

I have been wanting a Carhartt coat for some time now and finally purchased one. I love the look and feel of it, seems to be very well made and should last a long time. I have worn it a few times and have no complaints so far other than the black attracts a lot of hair and fibers so should have went with grey instead.

Big Bertha

It was a gift for my son. He loves it. It's unbelievably heavy, yet comfortable, and durable. Just what he needed in this recent cold snap.

Great jacket with the exception of the zipper. The brass zipper is to small and difficult to start. A #5 or a # 8 YKK vislon zipper would be much easier to start in cold weather and big cold hands.
