Great Smoker
This smoker rules. Anyone who writes this thing a 1 star review and talks about how fire goes back up the auger clearly did not read the instructions and/or is not following standard pellet smoker procedures. Had zero issues with mine and use it weekly.

Reliable And User Friendly
I bought this for my first smoker for 4 years and I can’t think of anything else I’d want out of it. Easy to operate, easy to clean, and versatile for anything from burgers to brisket. Highly recommend for entry to mid level smokers that typically feed 5 people or less.

Worth It For Cooking, Has Room For Improvement.
I have mine for over 6 years. I've cooked a lot with it. I have had issues that include the glass separating from the PID. I just glued it back in. Nearly all of the paint on the front lower half of the grill has chipped off due to heat. I've had to replace the diffuser, not unusual for that length of time. I have had issues with the ignition system not working after extended sitting over the winter without use, but it eventually dries out and lights with no problems. The side sear needs some more engineering because if there is any amount of wind it doesn't get to searing temp very well or consistently. The probes are trash and none of them have worked well or consistently since I've owned it. With all of that said, I have never had this unit fail on me either electronically or during cooking. Many many 13 hours cooks without fail. Would I buy it again? Maybe. But not without strongly considering other brands like RecTeq or at its current price point.

I Thought It Was Going To Be Good
I got this about a year ago seemed good at first now every time I use it it burns back through auger and smokes terribly out the hopper. A couple times it even melted the auger bushing and broke the shear pin. All the paint is melted off the inside of the hopper. This is the biggest piece of trash I have ever had at a premium price avoid this garbage at all costs

Woodwind 24, Outdoor Cooks Must Have.
I have had my Woodwind 24 for 6 years. Along with the grill I have the Sidekick single burner. I have cooked countless racks of ribs, both pork and beef, Boston Butt's by the dozens, salmon, spatchcock chicken and turkey, and countless other meals. Absolutely love how this grill cooks. The ease of cleaning is enhanced by the cleanout cup on the bottom. The electronic readout is super simple to understand and set. The moveable heat sheal allows grilling as well as slow cooking/smoking. The Sidekick just adds to the awesomeness of this setup. I have cooked pan cakes, sausage, hash browns, and much more on the provided griddle, and used the burner for frying and all sorts of pan cooking. I highly recommend this grill setup. The cover keeps everything clean between cooks as well.
