Great Shoes Overall!

I’ve been running in the Brooks Glycerin and they absolutely live up to the hype as a premium cushioned shoe. The cushioning is plush without feeling mushy, making them incredibly comfortable for long runs, recovery days, and everyday wear. They provide great shock absorption while still feeling responsive enough to keep my stride smooth and natural. The fit is true to size with a roomy toe box that allows my feet to relax and swell slightly on longer runs. The upper is soft, breathable, and supportive without any pressure points. I also appreciate how stable they feel, even with the high level of cushioning. Durability has been excellent so far—the outsole holds up well, and the cushioning hasn’t broken down quickly like some softer shoes do. If you’re looking for a neutral running shoe that prioritizes comfort, protection, and consistency, the Brooks Glycerin is a fantastic choice.

The All-new Versatile Glycerin Flex

I have been able to wear this shoe running, walking and working multiple 8+ hour shifts. I have given this shoe a 4/5 overall rating because I feel that this shoe is very versatile and overall comfortable for all activities, I used it for. I am a neutral runner/walker so I never felt unstable or unsupported in this shoe. While running in this shoe I could feel the flexibility, allowing my foot to move in a natural way. I think this shoe is going to be best for a consumer with a neutral gait, looking for a comfortable every day running/walking shoe. Thus far, the durability and materials are looking like they will be great! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

My Review

I ordered the Glycerin Flex in a women’s size 10.5, and the fit was excellent. Right away, I loved the knit upper, it’s incredibly comfortable, hugs the foot nicely, and still feels very breathable. There were no pressure points, and it felt secure without being restrictive. I ran in these shoes and also used them for walking and cross-training, and they performed well across the board. On the run, the shoe felt smooth and flexible, moving naturally with my stride. I really liked how connected to the ground they felt while still offering plenty of cushioning. They have a neutral feel with soft, supportive cushioning, not overly springy, but very stable and comfortable. I did notice they were slightly slick on wet pavement after rain, but overall the grip was solid. In the gym, they felt supportive yet flexible, which made them great for cross-training workouts as well. It was fun to go for a run and then wear them at the gym. They don’t have a super bouncy feel, but they’re comfortable and supportive enough to handle tempo runs and longer miles without issue. Overall, the Glycerin Flex feels smooth and reliable, and it’s a shoe I’d actually reach for across different types of workouts and walks.

Love These New Shoes

Running in the Brooks Glycerin Flex feels noticeably different from most cushioned trainers I’ve worn. Landings are soft and controlled, but not mushy, and toe-offs feel smooth and lightly responsive. The tuned foam definitely has a distinct feel. It absorbs impact and gives me an extra bounce as I run. What stands out most is how the shoe moves with your foot. The flexibility is immediately noticeable, especially through the forefoot, and it feels supportive without being stiff or forced. Instead of guiding your stride, the shoe adapts to it, which makes each step feel fluid and intuitive. I also feel more in control of my run. Because the shoe isn’t overly rigid or aggressively rockered, I’m more aware of my foot placement and cadence, which helps me “tune in” rather than just cruise on autopilot. Compared to other highly cushioned shoes I’ve tried, the Glycerin Flex feels more natural and engaging. It combines plush comfort with flexibility in a way that’s rare, making it stand out as a cushioned shoe that still feels connected and responsive.

Great Shoe!

These shoes feel smooth and responsive from the first run. Landings are well cushioned, and toe-offs feel energetic without being too firm. The tuned foam provides a noticeable balance of comfort and responsiveness that makes each step feel controlled. The shoe moves naturally with the foot, offering flexibility while still feeling supportive. I felt more connected to my run and more in control of my stride, especially during transitions. What stands out most is how balanced and refined the overall ride feels compared to other shoes I’ve worn.
