Comfortable And Supportive

These shoes are great. They are supportive all around the foot and have the right level of cushion in the sole without being too soft. Many shoes feel like they leave gaps between the sole and my foot but these were just right and provided support across the entire foot. They are also nice and light and easy to run in. The toe is slightly snug based on my typical shoe size but not enough to order a size up. It will just need to stretch a little.

Pep In My Step!

I started wearing the Glycerin 23 to train for a half marathon I have coming up in March and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. These shoes are so fun to run in! They provide such great cushion and give an energetic bounce to every stride. These shoes also work well for both my long distance runs and my speed and interval trainings. Comfort wise they are true to what I’ve come to expect of Brooks shoes- top notch. Their thoughtful design ensures I maintain stamina and allow for a quick recovery post run. I try to keep my running shoes strictly for running but I find wanting to grab these to walk the dog. My one recommendation is if you have a high instep, you have to play around with the laces to maximize your comfort- not a dealbreaker since I generally have to deal with this with most shoes. Overall- I’m incredibly pleased with these shoes and feel a major difference in my comfort and recovery!

Perfect For Running And Everyday Use

As a runner finding good shoes that will protect your feet is very important. First off, they run true to size! The cushion that these shoes provide help with stability and comfort. As soon as you start running you can feel the bouncy feeling when pressing down with your toes. The cushion all around the inside made it comfortable as I ran uphill. The cushion helped my feet stay in place even as i ran through rocky terrain. There’s nothing like being able to wear comfortable shoes while running without having to worry about hurting your feet. If you’re a runner, you know exactly what that means!

Style And Support For The Trail Or The Tread

I run in New York where the weather can sometimes dictate whether it will be a road run or a treadmill run. My favorite part of the Glycerin 23 is the versatility of the shoe. Its structure absorbs the shock of the treadmill and is also flexible on the different pavements outside. The thin uppersole fabric allowed for great breathability during my runs, which is a large plus for me. Although, this may be a concern for wetter conditions. After running several miles with these shoes, I realized that I did not have as much knee discomfort as I usually do after running. The cushioning is where these shoes really shine. The cushioned ankle and tongue really helped alleviate pressure on the top of the foot while maintaining ankle stability throughout my runs. Overall, these shoes are a great choice for running both inside and outside while looking stunning doing either.
