This is the first time I've ever been disappointed with any brooks product. The shoe pinches everywhere and whatever you did to change the sole from the 16's I really dont like. I understand i have to break these in but even after a couple weeks wear/workouts these are still extremely uncomfortable.

Disappointed
I really don't care for the new design. I have narrow heels and the ghost has always fit perfectly. This new one slips on my heels and the shoe strings are too short to allow for a runners knot

Not As Good As The Old Ghosts
I agree with other posters that the 17 is not as good as the prior Ghosts. These feel squishier and just clunkier than prior versions. Thankfully I got the 16’s on sale so I’ve been wearing those.

Not As Cushiony
I have owned several Ghost versions, and the Ghost 17s are not as cushiony as in years' past. The cushion feels really hard, not cloud like as in previous versions. I'm sure I'll still get the same durability as I would expect from Brooks. I buy the Ghost for the cushion, and so this is disappointing for me.
