My New Ghost 17 Sneakers Are The Best!

I have loved Ghost shoes since the first time I tried them many years ago and these new Ghost 17s which I recently received are no different. They are comfortable from the moment you put them on...no break in period needed. They are very comfortable and supportive for long walks and exercising.

Prefer Fit Of Ghost 16

The vinyl lace placket on the Ghost 17 is different than the 16. (The 16 does not have the vinyl restriction.) The 17 does not allow "give" for extra space when loosening the laces. IMPORTANT NOTE: The lacing placket is the same length for a women's size 10 shoe as is for a size 5.5 shoe. An average person wears Brooks lacing construction over the instep. A shorter shoe, with the same lacing construction, lands further down the foot, closer to the toe area.

My Go To Sneaker

Brooks sneakers work the best for me. I am on my feet all day. Whether im running around the office or walking on my lunch hour. My feet never get sore. The wide toe box helps with my flat feet. They DO NOT look bulky like other brands.

I like the Ghost 16 much better More room in the toe area and the 16 is more comfortable for walking The 17 seems to push you forward

I was looking for a good pair of shoes for working in a hospital that were quiet and comfortable. These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. Great shoes. A bit pricey, but I will buy more like them in the future.

Don't Buy

Had the shoes on for two hours and my feet was in so much pain. I had a hard time walking cause of the pain. No one could pay me to put the shoes back on my feet. The shoes now sit in the backseat of my car in the box.

Comfortable

Purchased a few weeks ago. They are comfortable and have good support. More than I would normally spend on a pair of shoes. Probably won’t again unless they have a significant sale.

These are the only shoes I buy as a UPS driver. Every 4 months I replace and donate them!
