I have been running in Ghosts for *years* and have really tried to like the Ghost 17 since I bought them 6 months ago. I'm due for running shoes now and hopped on the site to see if they have a 18 available yet. I will not buy these again. Really hopeful that when Brooks comes out with the Ghost 18 they will take these reviews to heart. My issues are the same as I've read from others, narrow toe box (for my narrow foot) and shallow heal design. For references, I run about 20-25 miles a week, 3-4 miles a day.

I Am Obsessed With My Brooks
I bought the Brooks Ghost 17 in the limited addition coconut/candy/limeaid color and I’m obsessed. My running journey started with the Brooks Ghost 15 in early 2023, and even though my husband swears by Hoka and keeps trying to convert me, I’m not budging—I’m a Brooks girl through and through. I walk 3-6 miles everyday and longer walks on the weekends. For my walking I always buy Brooks Ghost series. Its a good investment to keep my legs healthy and strong. But I do keep my running and walking shoes separate so I can keep a track of the mileage. As a mural artist, I’m on my feet for hours every single day, and these shoes make a huge difference. They’re incredibly comfortable, supportive, and honestly just the best shoes I’ve owned. I use them for both running and work, and they make long days feel so much easier. Highly recommend, especially if you’re on your feet a lot. I also recommend these to someone who is just starting their running journey. If I win this sweepstakes, the first thing I’m doing is buying the Brooks Glycerin Max 2. I can’t wait to try them. By the way if any of the decision makers at Brooks are reading my review, I would love to collaborate and design some artsy, bright colorful shoes for you. Changes Are Disappointing!
I hesitate to even give this shoe 1 star. I've been wearing this shoe for 10 years, replacing them about every 6 months, and have always loved it but not anymore. I just got a new pair and I'm very disappointed. The toe box is too narrow and the mid sole drop has changed. The shoe seems more rigid than previous versions as well. I can deal with the lack of good color choices but I cannot deal with the structure changes of this shoe. Sorry to say they have lost my business. I'm returning the shoe and looking for a new brand.

Great shoes! So comfortable the first day you wear them. I bought these for my daughter. She changed over from another brand and loves Brooks ghost.
