A No Go For My Feet

I am a fan of the Anthem 5 and Anthem 6 but since I work in healthcare, the lighter colors get dirty and aren't ideal for work, and right now the only colors in the Anthem style are light colors, so I thought I would try the Adrenaline GTS23 GTX since they are dark in color and also waterproof. I have yet to wear them to a 12 hour shift because they hit my foot wrong and are narrower in the toe area causing by toes to hit the sides when I walk. I did not return them because I did wear them around the house and a little outside to see if they could be broke in, but as of right now they sit in the closet. I will continue to keep my eye out for the Anthem to come back in dark colors. I get that marketing requires "newer and better" models of each style, but it is exhausting trying to find a shoe that makes my feet still feel light and happy after a 12 hour shift and the Anthem 5 was perfect, the anthem 6 was good, but from there, I have yet to find anything that equals and i have tried several different styles and brands.

Adrenaline Gts 23 Gtx

I love Adrenaline I have been wearing brooks from Beast to Adrenaline for about 10 years and I have never been able to wear the women's shoe because they were just to narrow, I buy men's size 11 and they fit great, but I do miss the feminine colors even a size 12 in women's is two snug. These I will admit for a men's 11 they were snug compared to the non-GTS, but due to the men's cut I was able to keep them but I do feel the difference.

Good Shoe

I do love this shoe but I like the Glycerin GTS better. It is just a better fit but this shoe looks great, too! And I love the water resistance.

My podiatrist recommended Brooks to me 12 years ago and it's the only type of issue I've worn since then. I started with the Launch and then the Glycerine and finally the Adrenaline. However, they changed the shoe with the 24GTS and my trusty size 12s no longer fit. I am so disappointed! Brooks has sized me out of their brand. In reading the reviews of other shoes, this looks to be a common problem. I'm going to have to switch brands, unfortunately.
