Compression is just right, not too tight. Convenient pockets- I used the one with the zipper for my car key fob in my race last weekend.

Great Fit

I bought a pair as a training treat for my 1st trail race. Seven years later they are still my go to running shorts. They have great fit and comfort and the cell phone pocket is perfect.

Misnomer

These shorts are lightweight and comfortable but calling them Sherpa shorts is a misnomer. These shorts have one real pocket that is for a cell phone. The other "pockets" are elastic topped shallow holders that one would never put anything of value in because it would likely fall out. This is the worst pocket design I have ever seen on a pair of running shorts.

Best Long Distance Shorts

Best shorts especially for long runs like a marathon. My go to always. Liner perfect for preventing chafing. Nice pockets for holding gels and gummies lightweight and comfortable.

Finally The Shorts I Was Looking For.

I have tried several running shorts looking for the right pair and finally I found the Sherpa 7" 2 in 1. Liner is great, shorts are very comfortable, pockets are spot on for carrying gels, snacks, key, etc. Will use them for my upcoming marathon as I don't want to carry a vest or belt for my gels. I found the 7" fit more like a 5 or 6" which is exactly what I wanted. I have also purchased the 5" style but those crept up a bit higher than what I wanted.

Obsessed

My husband loves these shorts! Light weight and the right length!

I bought these for my husband, who runs regularly in preparation for a marathon. It's been so sad seeing him come home from long runs in the late summer, when hot weather results in excessive sweating and wet clothes result in serious chafing. It seemed no matter what chafe-avoiding salves and balms he used, he'd have chafing somewhere. But he's done 3 runs now in these new shorts and no chafing at all. Amazing.

Close To Perfect

The shorts are incredibly comfortable, just right in most respects. The prominent zipper on the right side is somewhat annoying, often catches against the back of my hand unless I keep my arms tucked in higher than my usual. Modify or eliminate the zipper and the shorts are perfect.

It fits perfectly, is comfortable, and I like the pockets. I don’t worry that my driver’s license or car key will fall out.

Good, But Standard Sherpa Is Better

Good shorts but the standard version is better. The 2 in 1 misses out on the phone/zipped pocket at the back, instead getting a zipped pocket on the thigh. I find a phone or anything with weight sits better at the back rather than on the thigh where it can bounce as you run. The Sherpa is better than other shorts with a thigh pocket but still not as good as middle rear. If the back pocket was retained and the thigh pocket was an extra then that would’ve been perfect.

Most Comfortable Running Shorts.

I love them. They are so comfortable, that you forget that you have them on. They are super light weight and dry quickly after a run.

Good quality, but the leggings pull the shorts down as you run. Not ideal for any distance running.
