I recently bought this shoe and have used it at the gym and for walking. In the future I may use it for light runs. This is my second pair of the Revel, my first pair of this model were #2. The cushioning seems to be in the right amount and placement. My only complaint is the tongue and laces of this model. The top of the tongue is not wide enough and the laces tend to slip at the knot

Comfortable I’ve many versions of the revel One thing I don’t like about this is the old one used to have a loop to help you pull your shoes on on the back. This one just has more of a tab otherwise same durability and comfortability of the other version.

Purchased these for my son for track. He has narrow feet and said he has no issues with the size and I notice he does not have them tied super tight, like I usually see. Comfortable for track practice and everyday wear.

I've been buying the Revel for many years but this latest version, the Revel 8, is horrible. It feels cheap and it's not comfortable at all. The back part of the shoe bunches up and is especially uncomfortable on your ankles. Also, I agree with a previous review that said that the part of the shoe that laces up is too short and difficult to make feel right. I wear these as my daily sneaker and do not run in them, thankfully, since I can't imagine these being comfortable enough to run in.

I bought a pair of Brooks in the past so I thought this latest pair would be just as comfortable. Boy was I wrong!!! The shoes are uncomfortable when it is worn for extended period of time. I regret the purchase

Brooks continues to be a great shoe for comfort and activity.

We bought these for my son to participate in Track & Field. He is both comfortable in and happy with them.

Not a fan. I’ve owned the ghost and the glycerin and love them. The sole or more specifically, the heel is very hard. Even when I’m just walking around, you can hear them with every step. I use them to lift weights in but that’s it. Wouldn’t use them to run or even walk in.
great shoe, this is my go to for everyday, gym and runs.

They are ok. Cushioning is good. Shoe is a little tight. I thought I ordered a wider shoe. Guess I didn't.

Nothing better out there for 100. Great feel shoe, bouncy but not overly cushioned. Feel good 1st time on. Always have a new Brooks and shift old to backup workout duty!
