I was a bit hesitant to try the new version after running in the regular Glycerin models for many years but 100% glad I tried them.

I’ve been using these as my weekly trainers, and have been nice in the rotation! I think you need a true neutral running style of the mid-foot might feel weird. They are lightweight and feel fast, great for different paces.

Great New Twist On And Old Favorite!

So far these shoes have been great. I have been a Glycerine guy for over a decade, but this new twist on the Glycerine is definitely worth a try! The cushioning is great in my opinion. There is lots of energy return with each step. I hope that lasts for the life of the shoe. I like the flexibility of the flex gap in the sole of the shoe. The only caution I would give is that occasionally you may get a rock or pebble stuck in that channel during a run. It hasn’t happened often, but it has happened. The upper on the shoe was my biggest concern before running in the shoe. I have always liked a tighter shoe and the soft sock style uppers always made me feel like there would not be enough support. So far it has worked out well. It feels tight enough and keeps my foot in place well. I probably would not wear them for off road running, but they have been fantastic on the road.

I Love This Shoe

I love this shoe. The cushion and flexibility are outstanding and perfect for a masters runner like me that runs 60+ miles a week. The only worry I initially had was if gravel would get caught in the bottom; but so far it has not. The shoe offers bounce and smooth transitions to make for a comfortable ride. As a cross country coach, I recommend this shoe to a few of my higher mileage runners and they all love it too.

Really Nice Design And Feel

Really comfortable shoe. I’m getting somewhat tired of the constantly increasing thickness of sneakers. I feel like I’m walking on two inches of rubber and it can make me clumsy. These sneakers are fantastic!!!! They break barriers with their flex feature and feel like my old school running shoes. Still a bit thick but I think the flex feature compensates for this. Would buy again no question.

Been running for 15 years and the Flex is honestly my favorite shoes ever. Plush but not too much like the Glycerine Max, yet is, responsive. All our feet are different, but this shoe is it for me.
