Seems To Push Into Supination.

Nice shoe and really wish they were great but it feels like the pod that is on the inside of the forefoot (think bunyon) is slightly taller or just more dense than the rest of the sole. This causes a feeling like the shoe is pushing me into supination (I have a neutral roll) and creates a hotspot on that inside part of the foot. Used the shoe finder on the website and this is the shoe it recommended and since I do a lot of gym workouts was hoping this was the one. Not so sure yet.

Glycerin Flex - Out The Box Awesome

received them on Saturday, did my first "break in" run this morning and WOW... I absolutely love them. I usually wear a standard Glycerin (last ones are 22's) and I loved them but thought i'd try these. Supportive, comfortable out of the box and was surprised how naturally my feet adapted to them. Usually it takes a long time for my feet to adapt to new shoes so this was a BIG step forward! The colorway is awesome, its perfect for getting back into some spring running. I was getting tired of wearing black shoes!!! Great job Brooks... more of the same please and keep the great, BRIGHT colorways please!

Love My Glycerine Flex!!!

I got a pair at TRE last December and love the new Flex. It is light with perfect cushioning and response. Wide enough at the toe box to give my toes freedom to absorb each impact. The drop is perfect. What can I say besides "I love the Glycerine Flex". I been running since 1994 and I think this is one of my favorite running shoes. Not to brag, but at 62 years I manage to finish marathons close to 3 hours. Last year I paced 7th on my age group at Comrades Marathon. Have 5 Marathon des Sables (all top 35), 3 Spartathlons 250 km.... and wish I had this shoes before. Thanks Brooks!!

Brooks Hits Grand Slam With Glycerin Flex

Just received my Glycerin Flex and couldn’t wait for the snow to melt so I went straight to the local gym and ran for an hour on the treadmill. The support is superb, and even though more break in time will be needed it felt comfortable right away even for a 200 pounder like myself. For the first time ever it felt like my foot kept contact with the insert throughout the entire stride cycle. The Flex groove between forefoot and heel makes all the difference in the world. Be aware that if you have a wider foot the toe box might feel narrow. I don’t have a wide foot (about 4.5 inches across widest part) but the shoe is snug yet comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Simply Amazing

First off, I absolutely adore how this shoe looks. It has a very clean, streamlined profile with just enough neon green boldness to make it fashionable without being over the top or boring. While the heel cushioning flares out a bit more than I typically prefer from an aesthetic standpoint, this shoe really does it for me. The toe box is fairly standard—not tight and not especially wide—but the collar design wraps around your foot in a way that almost makes it feel like a sock. The tongue is especially well-designed—it curves at the edges to naturally form over the top of the foot and seems to mold to its shape, adding to that locked-in, secure feel. Once you start running, you can immediately tell that the shoe gives you extra bounce in your stride. It provides noticeable feedback from the ground and a subtle spring that helps propel you forward, which I really enjoyed. The cushion just moves with your foot on every step and contact, going the perfect amount of support. The fit feels snug, secure, and comforting without being restrictive. On my 4- to 9-mile runs, my feet stayed cool and never felt like they were running out of room. While I’ve mainly used these shoes for outdoor runs I think based on how well it secures your foot and the lower toe-heel drop these could definitely be good in the gym for light leg exercises or body weight exercising. I wouldn’t do deadlifts and heavy barbell squats with these but good for light weight exercises like lunges, burpees, etc. I’m undecided on doing sports that require a lot of lateral movement in these shoes but I’m not sure that’s what this shoe is intended for anyways. Overall, I’d give this shoe a strong 4.5 out of 5. It looks great, feels responsive and bouncy on the run, and offers a snug, confidence-inspiring fit. I’d highly encourage anyone to give this shoe a try.
