What I Expected

color was as i expected i would order again as i have been wearing brooks for years

Great comfort and cushion for walking, running, or being on your feet all day.

Upper Too Hard,arch Too Uncomfortable,not Much Cushion

I’m a nurse and I baught this shoe using the shoe finder , I do a lot of walking 12-14 hours 3-4 times a week and this shoe was not comfortable at all I did not like the arch in the shoe it actually hurt my feet it was too high and the cushion was not soft. I just bought the Glycerin Flex let’s see how that works. I really need a comfortable lightweight shoe.

Soft Marshmallows

I’ve dealt with some pretty serious plantar fasciitis from wearing soccer cleats. On my off days, I run a lot, and the Brooks Ghost has always been my go-to running shoe. They’re by far the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn — every step feels like you’re running on cushioned pavement.

Senior Runners Love The Ghost

The most comfortable running shoe ever. Have been a runner since 7th grade cross country now a senior runner the ghost keeps the runs enjoyable.

Switched from ASICS and haven’t been thrilled. Feet slip a bit while running, have a blister for the first time in years. Comfy for walking though and love the look.

Best Shoe Overall

A great fit as well as its look. Comfortable to wear, walk or run in. The color selection was great to choose from. I’ve been wearing Brooks for many years and would not wear any other shoe.

First Pair Of Running Shoes

I’ve been using the Brooks Ghost 17 for both daily wear and running, and they’ve honestly exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box they felt comfortable with almost no break-in time. The cushioning is soft without feeling too squishy, and the support keeps my feet feeling stable even after long walks or runs. One thing I really noticed is how smooth the ride feels compared to other running shoes I’ve owned. They absorb impact well, especially on pavement, and my feet don’t feel as tired afterward. The fit is true to size, breathable, and lightweight enough that I can wear them all day comfortably. The design is also clean and modern — the gray with orange accents looks great in person and matches almost everything. Overall, Brooks did an amazing job balancing comfort, support, and style with the Ghost 17. I’d definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a reliable everyday running shoe or all-day comfort shoe.

Brookes Ghost 17

Have been a huge fan of the Brooks Ghost previous generations. Bit disappointed in the 17 - changed the tongue structure and toe box a bit more narrow. Feels like cushion structure changed as well and not as comfortable as previous versions.
