I absolutely LOVE these shoes! They are so lightweight but so comfortable for racing! The response feels amazing and I would highly recommend!

Responsive And Light

I was surprised at how light these shoes were when I first picked up the package outside my front door. And when I put them on, I could tell that these were the lightest shoes that I have ever worn. The responsiveness was incredible. On a regular run, these were amazingly comfortable and springy. I might have to get another pair so I can keep them around as much as possible.

They feel great. Super lightweight. Comfortable for miles. I instantly felt my speed pick up a notch. They give me major confidence in my races.

Excellent Shoe

5 stars! Springy but not stiff, very comfortable and light. I have worn on hilly tempos, speed workouts, and short recovery runs and love them in every capacity. Normal fit as other Brooks shoes.

Hyperion Elite 5 Review

Best shoe I’ve purchased. For me as a heel striker, the shoe helps absorb the contact and the carbon plate really makes a difference in efficiency. A little narrow for my feet but otherwise would 100% recommend this shoe for threshold, speed workouts, tempos, long runs, and racing. Not your typical everyday shoe but great for fast reps and races.

These Are Fast Shoes

I do a 30 min HIIT. 2 min loops. I’ve done 122 runs first half 2026 so far. . I have two hyper speed days. Wed and Fri. They have been great so far. I feel fast just lacing them up. lol

Could Be Better

It could be better with a sock type tongue. Otherwise light and responsive

I like them but at the same time I don’t Maybe I run a little awkward but the left shoe heel feels like the shoe is collapsing while I am running

Fast, Durable, And Breathable

Shoe rides well and has good bounce. Fit is secure and true-to-size. Not an unstable shoe, but it might not be for you if you want more stability. I like for my ankles to go through a more natural range so the Hyperion Elite 5 is great. Upper has tons of ventilation, but still feels strong and durable.

Fit Doesn't Work For Me

I have been running in the Hyperion Max 3 for more than a year and I love them. I'm training for the Chicago Marathon and decided to try these as a race day option. The weight is incredibly light and the cushioning is firm but just squishy enough to be comfortable. Sadly, the heel design falls way too low on my foot and even with a lace lock my heels were slipping out at every step. I'm returning them.
