Started making a popping sound halfway through a training run (six miles), this is my second pair but am concerned that the quality of construction is changing.

Hyperion Elite 4

While they are decent shoes, they are expensive, no peba foam, I did not feel much energy return while running- was going to use for a half but ended up returning- would like to try the Elite 4 PB, with new foam but unsure of such a high drop.

Comfortable And Fast

I love these shoes. I’ve got two PBs since wearing these. Super comfortable and feel fast.

Nice bounce to your step. Light weight and breathable. Very conforming to the foot.

Excellent Speed Shoe

I’ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I’ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100-200 miles, and there isn’t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom (where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I’ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn’t be a problem.
