Still Early Days But So Far We Love It

Still early days but so far we love it. Purchased the Koda Aero with Solis Seats to replace our well used but still serviceable tandem Aero Zeppelin which went with use all over the country from Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado to the Florida Keys. Our first and only use so far was around Upper Captiva Island and Cayo Costa. Since we brought the kayak to Upper Captiva on the water taxi we did not bring the Solis Seats and instead used the included soft seats. Great kayak. Loved the lower inflation pressure. Even at a lower pressure than the Zeppelin the boat was plenty rigid. The boat was comfortable for the 3 hour paddle both days with a midway stop for a leg stretch. Winds were around 5 mph and didn't notice any heavy push from the wind. Next outing will be rivers so hope the performance will be as enjoyable. Also like that the Koda is less weight packaged than the Zeppelin and was easier to pack.

Smooth Ride On The Water

Just put our new Koda Aero Tandem in the water. Fairly easy to setup and inflate. Having the PSI on the valves is a nice feature. The kayak lacked instructions which had us guessing about some black parts used to stiffen the water diverters on front and back. Some pictures of the unfolding and setup would really help. The kayak was stable and easy to launch. Be sure to use the slag to help keep the kayak moving in a straight line. Without the slag it tends to turn. The first run on a local lake was smooth and Kayak stable on the water. Overall pleased with purchase and will see how it goes in the coming months.

Exceeds Expectations

I was very excited to be so impressed with this kayak. Our lake can get rough and the currant hard to steer in. This handled well where two teens navigated just fine! Then two adults and a golden retriever jumped in and had no issues navigating either. It feels very secure and sturdy on the water and can be maneuvered around easily. So thrilled we made this purchase!
