Best Ski Gloves

I have patrolled with these gloves and they last, work great on the coldest day but not too warm on a spring day, look great, and are soft and very easy to grab things with.

Good All-rounders

The Patrol gloves feel like a toned down version of the Guide gloves that I've used extensively. The biggest difference is the shorter gauntlet and the insulation only covering the palm, where the insulated inner runs down over the wrist into the gauntlet on the Guides. Because of those differences the mobility is a bit better with the Patrol, they're a less bulky/more packable and aren't quite as warm as the Guides.

Black Diamond For The Win

These are hands down (Pun intended) the warmest ski gloves I've had the pleasure of wearing. I've been getting by with cheaper gloves and hand warmers but when -17F hit Alta this year, these gloves were a winner. Just wished I had purchased two weeks earlier to ski Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee, both in negative temps.

Great Quality But Runs Small In Size

love them. warm, still have some dexterity. I got the extra large and it barely fits. other wise it would be 5 star.

Patrol Gloves

Only rated as a 3 due to them not a cold weather glove. Was expecting more from Black Diamond and this product. Skiing Mt. Rose, Heavenly and Kirkwood and my hands have gotten cold.

High Quality Leather! Not As

high quality leather! not as insulated as other BD gloves, making them perfect for a wide range of temps just below freezing

Real Nice Gloves

Very well made and warm. Wanted something with shorter cuffs than the Guide model and these are perfect. Only thing missing is a glove leash

The Only Mid Weight Glove I Use Anymore

Excellent warmth, excellent dexterity. These have been my go to riding gloves for years. As a knuckle dragging mountaineer I put my gloves through the wringer. 🏂

Gloves Fit Slightly Small

Very warm but compared with other similar quality options, these are too snug. Consider going up a size if you like some wiggle room.

The Only Ski Glove I Use, Now, Is Nice

The only ski glove I use, now, is nice. Streamline, warm, not too hot, Patrol Glove is all I need.

The Best Gloves

I’ve been through a lot of gloves over 32 years patrolling. The patrol gloves have stood up to a beating. My gloves are about five or six years old and just put my first piece of duct tape on one finger. They have kept my hands warm even on below freezing days when I could be outside for hours. I also love how soft they are which allows me to work outside without taking them off. Can’t say enough good things about them.

Great Gift!

Black Diamond is my favourite glove. I've only had to buy two pairs in the last twenty years because they work so well and last so long. I bought this pair as a gift.

Gloves Of Distinction

I have been wearing, using, and abusing Black Diamond gloves for 4 seasons now. I bought the Patrol gloves because I have been so pleased with the Guide and Legend gloves. I have lobster claw and finger styles also. I have been pleased with the fit, the warmth, and most of all the durability of the BD's. I have been so pleased I wear only the Black Diamond gloves. I have the choice of many brands. and still have others, but always go back to the BD gloves for the performance in all weather, temps, and conditions. I would highly recommend.

Great Glove For Skiing And Mountaineering

This is my second pair. Warm, true to size, comfy. Highly recommend!

My Go-to Resort Gloves In Pnw

Great resort gloves. Warm but dexterous. Just enough cuff to keep snow out. Very durable. I've been using one pair for 3 season with no significant wear showing.
