Bring Back The Solution!
Bring back the solution crew! I’ve had at least five of these and wear them 100+ days a season. They are the best base layer ever made, and I’ve tried them all.

Best Base Layer
Awesome base layer. The hood and the thumb loops make it so much more useful than my other merino base layers. I’ve been wearing this under my BD Alpenglow Pro Hoodie, and it’s the perfect combo for cold weather hikes; Excellent warmth, breathability, and sun protection.

Go To Base Layer
I've used the Solution 150 hoody as my main go-to base layer for ski touring for a few years now. The NuYarn has held up really well, the quarter zip helps manage ventilation and the hood fits well (not loose like a sun hoody but not a tight scuba fit either). I consistently take a large in BD tops and the large Solution fits trim but well. I run hot, so I would love it if they made the same quarter zip hoody in a lighter NuYarn as well, I would buy a Solution 130 in a flash.
