Received these poles and have used them a few times now. Definitely one of the bets purchases I have made to help with ultra running. Strong but lightweight and very easy to use

These are about the best hiking poles you can get. I got them for my teenage kid. I. Now I'm envious - I "only" have the aluminum version of these.

This is my second pair of Distance Carbon Z fixed length, poles and I will stick to those as long those will be on the market. I used the first pair for over 2k+ miles over rocky New Hampshire and around the World trails. Few times the poles were bent to about 90 degrees while being jammed between the rocks and I was falling, and, amazingly, they did not break (!). Now most of my hiking buddies switched to those. Super-highly recommended.

I order d these poles to use for my upcoming mountainous ultras this summer. They are great! Lightweight, fold easily and sturdy. Excited to see what adventures I take them on!

I love these new poles! My hiking abilities have really improved with poles and these are nice because of how lightweight they are and they collapse down so easily!

These are gold standard of trekking poles. I bought an extra pair for my paragliding kit. The fold up nicely and fit in my harness.

Finally upgraded from some Aluminum telescoping poles - it feels incredible. These carbon poles fold up and stow so quickly, and deploy just as fast. No more fiddling with adjusting length or trying to make out the little tick-marks while on the trail. They are incredibly light and swing smoothly. The sound of them striking the ground is a dull *tunk* versus the higher-pitched, tinny *clack* of aluminum poles. Very happy - wish I'd made the switch sooner.

Ordered these poles for an upcoming Ultra Marathon I am training for in Tunisia. They are super easy to adjust, lightweight and equally easy to collapse back into a quiver in seconds. Highly recommend.

I have been hesitating between choosing carbon VS aluminum poles, but after thoughts I made the choice of carbon and decided to go with these ones. They are super light, I don't feel them while running. I can quickly deployed them for a strong climb and put them back to my bag easily. If you're looking for something light and not too expensive, I definitely recommend these ones.

My wife has had a set of Black Diamond walking poles for over 10 years and loves them. I had bought a cheaper pair and they did not hold up. This new pair from Black Diamond are wonderful! So easy to assemble and collapse . They are going to Alaska with me in a few weeks , and to Greece this fall.

I have the Distance 4 Vest and the Distance Z Carbon Poles. Checked out the video on how to quickly put the poles into a carry mode and get them out. THIS is great equipment! Top notch. New to the trail scene, but I am ready now.

Out of the box, these are pretty impressive trekking poles. So lightweight and easy to fold. I haven't used them yet but have 3 backpacking trips coming up soon. I'm looking forward to trying them out!
