Great Rope For Trad Climbing And Long Raps!
Great rope! Supple and was ready to go on it's first day. The sheath is holding up well after a few days of trad leading, rapping and TRing. The only thing I would change is to use better adhesive on the taped tips at the end of the rope, hardly a major issue. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Rope!
Finding the ideal rope is such a personal experience. Too supple or too stiff, sheathing that pills or frays. There is always something not ideal. The BD 9. 6 Dry, Bi-Pattern is perfect. The 70m line I didn’t know I needed. Perfect for being on the sharp end. Can’t wait to get on the ice with it!

Rope Review
Fantastic rope!! I never thought I would need the bi-pattern feature of this rope being a climber in the Midwest, but I was proven wrong on a tall climb in Wisconsin.

My Favorite Rope.
BD’s 9. 6 dry rope is a great all-round rope. The bi-pattern means you will always be able to find the middle for half length rappels. The added safety is worth it.

Amazing Rope
This is my first rope for lead climbing and it’s amazing! I’m used to having a gym rope that struggles to get through my grigri. The 9. 6 is perfect for that, easy to work with and the bi pattern helps with addition safety and focus. Can’t wait to use it for sport!

Great Rope
I’ve always climbed on a 9. 8 and was worried the 9. 6 would be too thin (more stretch?) but so far so good with this rope. Took a few test falls which went fine. Bi-pattern is clutch. I usually prefer more neutral tones with splashes of color but this blue is nice.

First Climbing Rope
This rope is amazing! As a beginner I was having a hard time finding a rope with all the options on the market but this one is perfect with the easily identifiable middle marker and its diameter and length are just right. 10/10 would recommend

Dual Pattern
Dual patterned for people like me who can never find the faded middle mark that's no more than one inch wide. I'll never die from slipping off one strand ever again. - ghost of zanda

9.6 Bi-pattern
Great and reliable rope. The bi-pattern makes finding the midpoint easy. The material slides well through your belay device, but will grab when pausing when lowering.

Best Rope Yet
I have a lot of ropes. This is my favorite, because the thickness is perfect, it's pretty, and the bi-pattern makes it so easy to find the middle when rappelling.

Destroyed Surprisingly Fast
After 10 or so effective days in Indian creek (climbing a lot but falling very little), the rope has a core shot, a second one is developing and it looks very worn overall. I've never had a rope wearing so fast in my 15 years of rock climbing...
