When bikepacking, we find ourselves in some pretty average and unexpected 'tent sites'. I consider the footprint to be an indispensable component to this sleep system. It keeps the tent clean, dry and adds another layer of protection to keep the tent going for many more years into the future. The Bikepack foot print differs from the normal Tiger Wall UL2 footprint with coverage all the way out to the edge of the vestibule. This may seem excessive, but is perfect for keeping wet gear, soggy shoes outside, but off the ground. It also serves as an excellent platform for putting on and taking off muddy shoes without getting your socks dirtier.

Yes I know these things are overpriced. But you've already left fiscal sanity when you paid that much for your tent. And this thing not only fits perfectly but literally expands the usable space. Plus keeping dirt outside makes your expensive tent last longer. So just buy it. BTW if you really scrunch things it will fit in the tent storage bag.

I have to echo the other reviews indicating the unfortunate design flaw with this footprint. The corners that are supposed to line up with the stake position of the tent's rain fly vestibule doors is way out of whack. They are offset by several inches, making it impossible to stake the footprint and doors of the rain fly with a single stake. This offset also exposes the footprint to the elements and any significant rain will hit the exposed footprint and flow into the vestibule area and possibly the tent. Unfortunate when you spend the significant extra money for a footprint made for your tent and it's very poorly sized.

I bought this for my Tiger Wall UL2 Bikepacking tent. I consider using Tyvek or poly, but went with the real deal since it provides a footprint for under the vestibule, not just the main tent body. I wasn't sure if I wanted the bikepacking tent or the regular Tiger Wall, so I asked Big Agnes directly if it would work with the regular model too and they said it did, as I was planning on getting the footprint no matter which tent model I chose.
