A Dud? Or Just A One Time Manufacture Defect?

Hmmm. Ordered this last week. While putting it together in my back yard for a test run, one of the pole sleeves ripped. And not on a seem. It did trip to the seem though. Is this the quality to expect from big Agnes now? I own two big Agnes’s tents. One is over 10 years old. The other is only a year old. The older tent has had some stitching problems with the rain fly. Concerning for sure. Pay for a high quality piece of gear, expect the quality premium to be exemplified. Disappointed, Big Agnes’s. I would expect this from Walmart’s Ozark line, but not from you and your price.
