Well, since I have lost weight, I needed to drop from a XL-L to a L-MED.on my Green Jacket. When the Green arrived of course, I tried it on, great fit. It might ride a little high on chest, but after wear I am sure the fit will be perfect. When the water gets a chance to warm on the Nantahala, I will dive right in with this Green Jacket on. Thank you Astral and thank you Spincer. All of you are great professionals. See you on the water, Yeti.(David Renfro).
I have spent thousands of hours wearing a life jacket. Years of professional guiding. This is in my personal opinion the greatest jacket available. Full stop.

First Astral jacket I bought was the Indus which has been great for spring paddling and higher flows due to the additional flotation. However was looking for more streamline jacket for summer paddling/"normal flows". Ended up purchasing a Green Jacket and can't be happier - love the stream line feel and front pocket! Nice to have both jackets in the arsenal!

The most comfortable PFD I've ever had. I love the big front pouch, as well as the two side gear pockets.

This is my second Green Jacket. The best features are the back pockets which I put my hardware and prussiks in. Front clamshell keeps small things like sunscreen and surf ears. Unfortunately I can't put much more in there as it becomes too bulky for me. Obviously there is all the tech specs that make it a good choice buoyancy and rescue wise.

This is the best life jacket I've ever owned. One downside is it's hard to get off compared to others that unclip.
The Astral Green jacket pfd is extremely comfortable and in no way feels like it limits movement when paddling. I needed a rescue pfd for my work with search and rescue. Although I have not used it to date on a mission I am sure it will perform well. I could not be more satisfied with this pfd.

The Greenjacket is the best PFD I have ever owned, I wear it almost everyday for 4 months straight and it's comfortable, easy to use, and has plenty of storage for all my stuff. Definitely recommend it for anyone doing work on the water.

I love my Greenjacket. It is the perfect blend of storage and comfort. I can playboat and be flexible in it and still carry whatever I need. I really love the clamshell, it is spacious without being too bulky. I also like how it opens and makes a little space to set things when opened most of the way if I am in a calm spot or on the riverbank. It is also very comfortable for a long day on the water.

It does it's job as a pfd very well - it's lovely and floaty as well as comfortable. I love the waterproof canvas and how quickly the whole jacket dries. It did arrive with a slash in the canvas at the back (only cosmetic but not ideal) and the zips get stuck sometimes on the clamshell which is more of a problem when I'm trying to open and close the pocket quickly.

Had my first water rescue with my new gear. Fit well. I have to get used to putting it on over my head and not like a jacket. I won't use the personal throw bag at work, only for my personal rafting.

Best rescue vest on the market. Super comfortable to boot. I’ve used an earlier iteration for almost 20 years for both swift water rescue and open water/ocean applications. This vest has performed exceptionally well in training. I’m convinced it will surpass my old version in real rescues. And they have upped the anti with comfort, flotation, and style.
