Wonderful Boot With Toe Box Wide Enough For My Toe
I like these so much that I have purchased 3 pairs. The fit is perfect as most boots are too narrow but these are just right. Excellent location.

This is my second pair of these great boots. Perfect fit for me. Wore the first pair completely out. Would recommend for hiking on uneven trails for sure.

Solid Boot
I have hiked 1000's of miles on Asolo boots over the years and had many models. This one runs a tad bigger ue I have always been a 10 in the boot line so I would say it fits more like a 10.5 but comfortable. Very rigid sole, which I look for in a boot and slightly on the heavier side, which doesn't bother me. I did see where someone complained about a stitching clustster were the toungue is sewn together amd that was rather uncomfortable as it sat directly beneath one of the lace locks. I took a pair of flat nose pliers to the material wad..for lack of a better term..lol and worked it over a bit w the pliers squeezing and turning wo tearing it! So don't go to crazy just cruah it down and it solved that problem rather easily. Great boot. Fit is larger. Crush the extra material to soften it.

Bought For Work And Hikeing
The boots are great, tuff and resilient, only complaint was they did NOT keep my foot dry during a particularly bad storm. I brought them back, and just recieved my new pair in the mail when I returned from my trip, Great customer service

Not That Comfortable
The tongue of each the boot includes a vertical seam that runs up the left and right edges of tongue. It joins the outside and inside fabrics of the tongue. The inside surface of the tongue includes a horizontal seam that joins two types of fabric that make up the lower and upper portions of the tongue interior. Where the vertical and horizontal seams meet, there is a hard nodule - presumably made up of stitching and gathered fabric - inside the jacket of tongue. As a result, there is a pencil tip sized, hard projection digging into each side of each ankle when the boot is laced up. I found an identical flaw on a pair of Asolo Fugitives and returned them to a local retailer two months ago. Same thing on the Drifters. To prevent hot spots, I'm adding an exta band of thick sock material under the points of irritation, but I expect more out of a boot that's north of three hundred bucks.
