Novablast 3
Not a great shoe, ASICS changed the design and functionality on Novablast 3. I dislike the new design for the tongue and top of the shoe, its thin, flimsy and cuts into my skin unless I wear higher socks. It's no longer padded and doesn't provide a cushion or snug fit, cant tie the shoe tighter to get a good fit either. The shoe forces your foot to roll forward, ok for running but not for normal walking, feels unsteady. The description on the website says normal gait, no one walks that way. It's annoying and unnatural. Why do companies ruin great products with "updates"? After running for 15+ years, I have to find a new shoe type, I am searching for a new shoe. I had the novablast 3 before this current shipment and it is not the same and this shoe, I guess they changed the design mid shoe cycle? Hopefully they go back to providing a good product and not cut corners on quality and comfort. this appears to be what asics did with this version. The soles are wearing out quickly (run outdoors), I doubt there will be 300 miles with these shoes, glad I got them at a discount.

Not Neutral Pronantion!!!!!
Bought these shoes because the cushioning is wonderful and much like my older GT-2000 10. Been wearing ASICS for years because they are the only brand that is good for my arthritic dancer's feet. BUT- BOTH pairs I bought make my feet turn inward. These are supposed to be neutral pronation shoes yet ARE NOT! They are for under-pronation. They bother me greatly and I'm very disappointed. I can't return them because I kept tryin to get them both to work for my and have worn them several times. Had my daughter try them and she said the same thing. Have been buying ASICS for abt 20 years and never had this happen. Must be the style and hope ASICS figures this out and corrects it.

Fore Foot Is Too Heavily Padded
The fore foot padding is so heavy that it makes you feel like you're walking on your heels. That's despite an 8 mm drop. I'm returning them because they don't feel natural.

So Much Love For My Novablast 3's!
I purchased these in hopes of comfort and a smooth ride during my runs and ended up falling in love with how they fit. Very light and bouncy on long runs and they make me feel fast. I love the colors that Novablast 3 offers, very vibrant!
