Love This Jacket!!

I lost my rain jacket and purchased my first Arc’teryx coat. I love the way this coat fits and feels. It does a great job stopping the wind and rain without feeling cumbersome. It is light weight and attractive.

Coloring

I really like this jacket. I only wish that it came in more neutral colors (white, grey) to better suit my other ski equipment, and the current selections put me off from buying initially. If a white jacket was released, I would definitely repurchase.

Not Waterproof

I got this jacket on sale and thought I had made a great deal - until I used it in rainy conditions. It protects against wind, but even lighter rain goes right through, within 15 minutes. This was the case even before I washed it the first time. I get completely soaked - from head to hips - if I hike in heavy rain. I had to bring a back-up rain poncho on a multi-day packpacking trip in Yellowstone, which completely defies the purpose of a lightweight rain jacket. I have to replace it before my next backpacking trip. I have other Arcteryx products that I love, but unfortunately won't purchase Arcteryx rain gear again; I need to be able to trust my gear, and based on this experience, I cannot.

Limited Pockets

Bought the jacket for skiing fully intending to layer up. I'm 5'2" 118lbs, XS size is great fit and GOR TEX kept me comfortable despite -3C snow & wind. Biggest disappointment is there are ZERO inner pockets, no sleeve pocket, no place to put an RFID pass. I didn't realize until it was too late. I never thought Arc'teryx would have no inner pocket. Big miss.

My Second Beta Lt

This is my second Beta LT (my daughter stole my first!). I bought it for a trip to Iceland as layers are the plan and this will def protect from wind/wet conditions. Love the colour, love the features, love the fit. Don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed!
