Ld3 Was A Far Superior Shoe.

I can't express how disappointed I am in these shoes versus the LD 3 version. Just about every aspect is worse. The fit is narrow to the point of being painful yet it feels longer and sloppy, especially in the heel. The feel while running is overly stiff comparable to the older version with obviously reduced cushion underfoot. It feels like a fashion shoe vs. a technical trail shoe. The design of the lacing system being hidden and tucked underneath creates weird pressure points and causes the fabric to bunch up when you try to get the shoe tight enough. Somehow they even managed to make the lace garage worse than previous versions. I'll be scouring the internet to try and find the older LD3 version if I can.

Comfortable Even In The City!

Comfortable, good for city walking too! Bought this to prepare for the rainy days.

Too Much $ For A Poorly Designed Shoe

I’ve had these for 5+ months now; bought them for rainy Oregon. As other reviews have said, they are stiff and not comfortable. I feel like I have to force myself to wear them just because I paid so much for them. At the time I bought these because Hoka didn’t have many waterproof running shoe options… but atp comfort over style does matter most.

Love The Look

Great looking shoe, fits to size, and feels good when I walk long distances

Breathable And Comfortable

I never had luck with GTX shoes until the Norvan. The trade off between breathability and waterproofing wasn't worth it for me. This shoe is breathable enough to make the trade well worth it. Super comfortable and the quality you expect from Arcteryx.
