Just Perfect

Just perfect for spring & fall weather plus layering under a shell. I’m about 169 cm tall and 61 kg having sporty athletic figure which makes it nowadays difficult to find clothes which fit. Usually they tend to be baggy at waste and too long. Luckily this Cerium hoody in mens size XS fit me perfectly. It’s also light, feels still warm, but is thin enough to use under a shell. Perfect in many ways!

Wrong Color

The color of the jacket did not remotely look like the pictures that were in numerous websites. It came across more green compared to when it arrived it it was weird bluish color. I bought becoasieni like the jacket in in green. Needless to say I sent it back. Smh

Jacket

Excellent jacket and company. Their warranty and quality are fantastic

Fragile And Terrible

This jacket is very light and packable, but those are the only two things I like about it. It's durability is terrible. Within the first month of wearing it, the seam on both sleeves were already worn through and began leaking down. I've had to patch the entire seam on both arms. The fabric is also weak, thin, and has ripped in multiple spots just from brushing up against a sage bush. The zipper is fine, is easy to misalign, and strips easy. If you want a light and packable jacket, this one works. But, if you're looking for something durable and practical, this is not the jacket. I would not buy this again for any reason.

Great Quality, But Size Down For A Trim Fit!

Premium feel with a perfect balance—not too thin, yet durable and impressively lightweight. While I haven't tested the warmth yet, the fit is surprisingly large. Even with 51" shoulders, it feels oversized. Great quality, but size down for a trim fit!

Harsh Winters

I work outside in Baltimore during the winters I usually layer with helly hansen or a north face summit series breithorn in comparison the cerium is perfect for keeping you warm in the low dry temperatures it’s not bulky so you can layer it with a waterproof shell if it’s wet I use my alpha and have no problems doing 12-13 hr shifts in the 20 below

Lacks Durability - Please Fix The Face Fabric!

I’ve trusted Arc’teryx for years for my outdoor gear, and after owning several shells, I finally added one of their down jackets to my kit. I’ve also owned down pieces from Mountain Hardwear and Patagonia, so I have a solid basis for comparison. Arc’teryx consistently delivers on design, fit, and thoughtful construction—that’s why I keep coming back. Unfortunately, this particular jacket didn’t meet the durability standard I’ve come to expect from the brand. Within two months of normal use, the face fabric developed significant tears from fairly routine contact. While the jacket is impressively lightweight—shaving a few ounces compared to something like the Patagonia Down Sweater—that weight savings seems to come at the expense of fabric resilience. The result was early feather loss and noticeable damage far sooner than anticipated. I still respect the brand and appreciate their design ethos, but I was disappointed in how this piece held up under everyday wear. For a premium jacket at this price point, I expected greater durability.

Warm , Versatile And Light

My Light ,versatile and warm second layer. It is my go to companion in resort and cold skiing day.

Delicate Material

I love the practicality of the jacket, but it is very delicate. I barely brushed against a piece of metal without feeling anything, when I got home, I noticed a significant tear in the outer layer. fairly disappointed.

Great Jacked For Cold Days

very light but at the same time very warm. Perfect jacket to for skitouring to stay warm on the summit. Also the packsize is very small.

Impressive Warmth

The Cerium Hoody is a fantastic garment. Though lightweight, it's impressively warm! Under modest effort in a 25 - 30 degree range, perspiration condenses in the jacket's back panel. Even so, this jacket is a beast! One area where improvement could make it even better, the hood seems anemic in dimension and feature. There is no bill as in many of my other Arc'teryx garments but rather an elastic band that isn't very comfortable. It isn't a deal-breaker for me but I"m surprised at the hood's size and feature constraint. I love this jacket nonetheless!

Light And Warm

I love this jacket. Would recommend. I choose this one on <~35F days. Today is low of 9 and high of 21 and I don’t feel cold waiting for the train (I’m also wearing an undershirt and long sleeve dress shirt). Feels nice too.

Warm

Great for the winter ; really warm and also lightweight

Made For Show, Not The Outside.

Serious drop in quality. Have extensive wardrobe of Arcteryx gear, typically well made, durable and lasts years under harsh conditions. This coat apparently is made for show, not wear. Outer material is paper thin and has ability to withstand contact with anything but air. Apparently I brushed up against something without noticing- at least until I looked down later in the day and found a long tear in the front of the jacket. No more Arcteryx for me, plenty of alternatives who are interested in supplying high quality products at this price point.

Almost.....perfect

Quite possibly the best jacket I've ever owned. Incredibly warm and the quality of craftsmanship is second to none. My ONLY gripe with this thing is the weirdly the sleeve opening for your arm. Its narrow. The way the jacket sits on my back, my chest, my waist, is perfect. But it's just to tight around the armpit area. Such a weird sizing thing. I do exercise and im in okay shape. I dont think I have huge arms by any means. If the jacket wasnt so warm it would be a bigger problem. I can get away with just a t shirt underneath well into the teens for temp. Layering with this would be impossible just because of the arm opening. Other than that, GREAT jacket. Fix that and I will buy in more colors. Great work!
