I bought one of these about 2 years ago and loved it. I recently bought another and I feel like it’s fake thats how bad the quality is. It’s smaller, thinner material and just overall cheap. Did they change their manufacturer?

Favorite Beanie
“Super comfortable and looks great.” I absolutely love this Grotto Toque. It’s incredibly comfortable and fits perfectly. The design looks even better in person and pairs well with just about anything. Warm without feeling bulky, easily one of my favorite beanies. Arc’teryx nailed it with this one.

Thinner Material, Different Than Previous Model.
Older models were made better and thicker, looks like quality has dropped tbh. They are so much thinner than what they used to be prior.

Excellent Beanie, Just A Bit Roomy Fit
The beanie’s warmth, color, and design are excellent. While the one-size fit was a bit loose for my head, it’s still a great item overall. I’d rate it an 8.5/10 and plan to order more colors.

Poor Quality, Slow Response Time From Team
keeps warm, but to think a simple hangnail from my finger could catch, and rip thread from the beanie- is concerning to me. i wore the beanie once and it already has a hole in it. won’t be buying another one of these ..

Cheap, Thin, Disappointed
Extremely disappointed in the switch on the grotto toque this year of material. Owned multiple of the previous version which were so much thicker, less cheap feeling. Especially at that price point for a beanie it’s just ridiculous. I wish I would’ve read the most recent reviews before purchasing, but I’ve had so many before that I didn’t think it was necessary . 0/10 For no warning of the revise.

Solid Hat.
This hat is very nice and honestly I kinda had a suspicion that it was overpriced or going to just be like every other beanie. Surprisingly thought it was pretty different. Something I like about this hat is that it’s not too tight off the bat and it’s not too hot. I think this hat would be good for stuff like hiking or just chilling in winter. Some other hats I’ve ordered before from different companies were super tight in the beginning but eventually got all loose and weird. This one doesn’t give me that vibe.
