Aquatabs-must Have

Aquatabs are great. They are small and light and don’t have any moving parts that can break. I keep a few with each of my filters as back up. I also keep some in my camp kitchen box and with my emergency gear for kayaking.

Great Backup Purification

I’ve used these as my main purification method on a couple long distance runs and pretty much always have them in my pack as a backup. I’ve never had any issues using them, they work fairly quickly and don’t make your water taste funny.

Simple And Easy

Fortunately I have not had the occasion to use these tablets for two reasons. My water filter has not failed and now my thru-hike is postponed. However, these will always be in my pack as a back up to my water filter whenever I hit the trail. Simple to use as well as enough supply to keep my water safe until I can replace a filter if and when necessary.
