What A Great Shoe!
It’s really difficult to find a shoe that performs well during a run while also working for casual wear, but this one has managed to do both. Sometimes I’ll take a break from work for a quick walk or run, and it’s usually frustrating having to bring another pair of shoes with me. With these, though, those days will be a lot more enjoyable. I’m most surprised by how light the shoes are while still seeming durable. Only time will tell.

Good Shoe
The Brooks Anthem 8 has the necessary attributes of a daily trainer and an all purpose shoe. The mesh upper forms well to the foot and is breathable. The midsole/sole stack is firm and responsive. These are not a forgiving shoe when it comes to impact and that will be exaggerated on longer runs. If you’re looking for a shoe to wear throughout the day, perform short distance high tempo runs, or even for circuit training, the Anthem 8 is an option to consider.

Amazing Anthem 8s
I’ve been a Brooks fan for a while, and the new Anthem 8 does not disappoint. If you’re looking for a versatile shoe that delivers on performance, this is it. Right out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the color: the Navy with the Gold accents looks even better in person than in the photos. It’s a sharp-looking shoe that’s stylish enough to wear with jeans but technical enough for a serious workout. The biggest upgrade here is definitely the DNA LOFT cushioning in the midsole. It hits that "sweet spot" of being soft enough to save your knees on pavement but firm enough that you don't feel like you're sinking into sand. I took these out for a few miles and the transition from heel to toe felt incredibly smooth and natural. The engineered mesh upper is also a winner; it’s very breathable and has a nice stretch to it, so my toes didn't feel cramped even after my feet started to swell a bit during the run. In terms of fit, they run true to size and the heel cup feels very secure with no slipping. They are lightweight, durable, and honestly, they just feel perfect the moment you lace them up. If you need a reliable daily trainer for shorter runs, gym days, or just a comfortable shoe for standing all day, the Anthem 8 is a top-tier choice. Highly recommended for anyone who wants Brooks quality and comfort!

Excellent, Comfortable Shoe
These shoes are incredibly comfortable. They actually may be the most comfortable and supportive shoe I own. I found myself reaching for these not just for exercise, but for everyday casual wear as well. On top of being extremely comfortable, they are very sleek and stylish. The shoe is also very breathable, which was an unexpected bonus. I will absolutely buy more of this brand in the further!
